Real Life Fairy Tales

This artist has done what is essentially being done by Disney now, but in the true sense of hipster: the artist here did it first. From the storybook to the cartoon screen to the big screen, these are a set of actors modeled as classic fairy tale princesses. The artist worked on creating the information sheets and changing the make-up, hair, and clothes of a set of actors to look as if they were the true Disney princesses.

What would movies look like if they were shown in color?

So Buzzfeed in all their easy to digest and manage pertinent information glory, came out with a series of poster remakes based on classic American films. Now, different than their acclaimed counterpoints, these remakes incorporate minorities in their ads. It's a point to make an effort in envisioning films with different people as lead and away from roles that highlight racial perceived stereotypes. Also while it isn't digital art to a crazy detailed extent, it does kind of relate to the movie posters we just finished in class.

Watching the trailer is something you should do with no children around, because it's pretty saucy, but I didn't know that going in.

With its exciting colors and strong characters, the series underline individualism and identity crisis of youth in lacking of sexual identity, victim of discrimination, frustration and violence. The show rises those topics, playing with the social codes of modern society.

 The graphics from a video game called No Man's sky and the fan who I jacked it from gives you no information, but that's beside the point. Trusty Dusty wikipedia says.
