Art Event - Speaking of Printable art

The SUNY and Hartwick Art Show, was pretty awesome. Though funny to see an entire wall dedicated to the paintings of rocks and a regal pedestal reserved for showcasing rocks in a special formation. While I come off joking, it does mean something immensely important to someone out there. The parts of art that speak to me more, are less the recreation of reality, but the care and details that came with the tools used in reality. It blows my mind to think that years from now when archaeologist are looking through the remains of civilizations from the 21st century, they're gonna find neon colored guns and probably get wrong how they we used them. They'll find vases and sake glasses and reason why they were made, and sculpted. They're gonna find a pattern in the vase handles and give reason to why they were done that way. Someone will be just as enchanted about finding items of everyday life, then they are of items recreating a single moment in life. Still my roommate would argue the opposite. Regardless, I think art pieces that were once used, once a prize possession hold so much more gravity then just a painting of a single moment in time.

Printable Art

People need to talk about Squeegool.com, it's like the even cooler sister of Ebay, but younger than Etsy. It's amazing how their print skills work.

But still here's an artists to take notice of:

I wanted to pick this one because I wholly intend to buy like 12 of these. And surround myself with the hunting lionesses from the Lion King Musical. When I saw the play for the first I was entranced by their dance and to think I can now get that same beauty on the surface I lay my head on. The creator James has a bunch more were that came from.

Art!

A youngen named Dennis is more than capable in their art and now you get their awesome work printed on pillows laptop, sleeves and, phone cases. I want to be able to sleep on their art and watch it on tv. Maybe, they'll become an animator

Racebent Disney!!

Racebent Disney is probably the best thing I've ever seen when someone recreates the Disney scenes. The funny thing is the creator didn't mean it as any statement, just up and felt like. Anywho here are my favorite ones:

Photoshop Background for Zelda

it's cool seeing your childhood recreated and even better than the blocks that made up the characters.

Can you hear the flute song in the distance?

Vector Faces

Had to google search what is a vector face to get the digital aspect: Vector graphics is the creation of digital images through a sequence of commands or mathematical statements that place lines and shapes in a given two-dimensional or three-dimensional space.
Art and math come together, by Shamel Washington, most of these found on tumblr, but the artists website is linked in his name.
